Managed to hit Mythic in #MagicArena after a long drought (last time was way back in August!), right before I leave town and need to be away from Arena for a few days
I was running Esper Legends in Standard, it's a fun deck! And current Standard is actually a bit fun, despite the prevalence of Fable

Did another off-stream draft last night, a premier one this time, spending gold to try to restock my gem balance after the disastrous Arena Open Weekend. It went well, the draft went to 6, so profit~ I actually learned a lot from the quick drafts I think, I wouldn't have been sure how to draft this kind of RG deck before. Was tempted to do a second one but (a) didn't have time; and (b) let's not push our luck (or our gem total!)

Sigh. Threw some gems away on the Arena Open again, attempts no. 2 and 3. First pool looked decent, but I had some bad misplays that cost me a couple of games, finished 2-3. Second pool had some good rares in shallow colors, I went RW for more consistency, but only went 1-3.
Someday we'll get there!

Managed to squeeze in a couple more off-stream #MTGONE quick drafts before they rotate out, this time continuing my experimentation with blue. First one didn't go well (only 1 win), but second one paid off and went the distance! A trophy is a pretty good way to end my Quick Draft run!

Day 2 of #MTGONE quick drafts, my first foray into blue for this format. The first draft went well at 6 wins, but the second one where I tried to go monoblue went much worse with 1 win. Oh well.

Wasn't sure if I could stream before #MTGONE quick drafts rotated out, so I decided to do a couple offline. Only went 3 and 4, which is still a bit better than my last draft day.
I won every game with that Sword, but I never got to cast Kaya.

Before I went in, I reviewed my Kaldheim Limited Review, and it looks like I did terribly in that format. So it's not surprising that I didn't too well this time either!
