    Awaiting the first round of day 2. Relax, good luck, have fun

    Lost the 11th round, now at 8-3. #GPManila so much for top8 lol

    Got lucky vs solar flare to finish the gp at 11-4, should be in the money. The other 5 rounds were vs delver @_@ #GPManila

    My only sustenance for the past 12 hours was a bottle of mineral water and a kfc brownie from yesterday

  • GP Manila 2012 Day 1 Liveblog

    For everyone going into battle at GP Manila today: Relax, have fun, be lucky. :D

    Looks like around 1200 at gp manila lots more than I expected

    Started out 3-0 now the hard part begins #gpmnl

    Now at 6-2, must win the final round to advance to day 2 #gpmanila

    Aw crap, i'm playing tomorrow. It's my first gp day 2! #achievementunlocked #gpmanila

    I'm not cut out for nine rounds anymore, my brain is already jelly.

    Salamat po sa mga supporters at sa mga bumati sa twitter (showbiz), pero wala pa po akong napapanalunan. Naiwasan ko lang maeliminate lol

    Exhausted after a whole day of Magic at GP Manila, but I finally managed to make day 2 of a GP. The battle continues tomorrow!

  • Grand Prix Manila Day Two and PTQ Berlin

    Grand Prix Manila 08 has come and gone and is in the history books. While the Wizards official coverage gives you the play-by-play and the results, Iā€™ll see if I canā€™t provide any interesting stories about my first constructed Grand Prix event. For the PTQ on day two, I decided to just use the Kithkin build we made for Paul, except that I put in Stillmoon Cavaliers maindeck, taking out Knight of Meadowgrain. I also fixed up the sideboard a bit. The list I played: Lands 4 Windbrisk Heights 4 Rustic Clachan 2 Mutavault 16 Plains Creatures 4 Burrenton Forge-Tender

Day One Tournament Report As mentioned in the previous post , I'm playing QnT and I hope to fight aggro decks all day long. Round 1. I shuffle up with my first round opponent. I keep a two-lander with some good creature control spells. He starts with a Forest and I realize he'splaying some sort of monogreen elves
