Posted on r/EternalCardGame: Please indulge me: After one year and 400+ F2P hours, I finally hit Draft Master, the last Steam achievement I was missing. This was my 3rd month that I tried going for this. I started out with 80k gold and ended up with around 40k

(Twitter) After 1 year and 400+ hours of F2P with @EternalCardGame, I finally managed to hit draft master, the final achievement I needed to complete the Steam achievements (there's a lot more in-game though)

I had previously tried going for this with 30k and 50k gold, both times weren't enough. Got lucky this time. Made it to master in 21 drafts.

I was going to try it with 30k gold starting next month. So thanks for the warning, I guess. And congratulations.

I think 30k is doable, but only if you're already super familiar with the draft environment and you have to get lucky, getting many 7-win drafts in succession. Out of 21 drafts, I had 5 7-wins.

Congrats! I thought I might do it this month, but I'm stuck in Gold and need more funding.

It's tough. To save up, I skipped a few leagues (even though I really enjoy sealed) and I haven't purchased the latest campaign yet. Oh, I can do that now!

Congrats! It is a huge accomplishment that shouldn't be diminished. Now the real question...will you now make the climb regularly?!

Yeah, I've been thinking about that, IDK really. The thing about draft is that no matter what you need some pool of gold to start with, and that's the limiting factor for a F2P-er. Now that I've done this draft thing, I'm focusing on ranked again for the remainder of the month as I'm still in gold, and I spent some gold already on the latest campaign, and I'll probably resume league again next month too. I guess I'll see how my gold and time situation works out in december.
